Loon Mountain Resort is a customer-focused organization seeking a Tuning & Demo Technician. The technician will be responsible for servicing and maintaining snowboarding and alpine skiing equipment while ensuring excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Greeting customers as they enter the ski shop, and provide them with information on available skiing and snowboarding equipment and supplies

Tune and repair skis and snowboards

Perform binding calibrations, testing, and certifications

Mounting and testing of bindings

Complete, track, and file necessary paperwork

Maintain cleanliness and organization of shop area

Cross-trained in all Retail Shop positions

Understanding our products and services, what guests need and how to raise the bar to provide excellent service to customers, general public and employees

Must be able to multitask in a busy retail environment and be a team player

Must be able to work a flexible schedule which includes weekends and holidays

Protect the safety of self, co-workers, and Loon Mountain Resort guests at all times

Report any potentially harmful equipment or situations to the immediate supervisor without delay

Report safety-related accidents and incidents at once to immediate supervisor

Follow all company and department safety policies and procedures

Operate equipment in a safe manner that will not lead to injury of yourself or others

Drive in accordance with the law and Loon Mountain Resort policies
