They are seeking a Controls Field Service Technician responsible for commissioning, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical control panels and automation systems at customer sites, involving extensive travel to ensure optimal system performance.

Responsibilities
Travel to customer sites using company vehicles to perform startups, troubleshooting, and repairs of electrical control panels and systems
Perform hands-on work with electrical systems, including wiring, PLC programming, VFDs, and automation controls
Conduct service calls both onsite and via phone to support customer needs
Perform inspections, testing, and repairs to meet UL(Underwriters Laboratories) and safety standards
Work with pumps and pumping systems, including rotary lobe, diaphragm, and progressive cavity pumps
Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to understand system design and troubleshoot problems effectively
Provide technical support in the areas of automation controls, and industrial equipment
Document service activities and communicate effectively with customers and internal teams
Qualification
Required
Technically proficient in commissioning, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical control panels and automation systems
Ability to travel approximately 60% to customer locations
Hands-on experience with electrical systems, including wiring, PLC programming, VFDs, and automation controls
Experience conducting service calls both onsite and via phone
Knowledge of UL (Underwriters Laboratories) and safety standards
Experience working with pumps and pumping systems, including rotary lobe, diaphragm, and progressive cavity pumps
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals
Provide technical support in the areas of automation controls and industrial equipment
Strong documentation skills for service activities
Effective communication skills with customers and internal teams
