Diesel Technician

Transportation/Trucking/Railroad

Responsibilities

Diagnose, document, and repair engines, transmissions, and major components using company-supplied laptops and OEM software
Perform troubleshooting, service, preventative maintenance, and reconditioning
Follow proper warranty procedures and complete required documentation
Attend OEM and dealer training (online and in-person)
Collaborate with drivers and co-workers to get the job done right

Qualification

Diesel mechanic experienceTroubleshooting skillsOEM software proficiencyClass 3–7 vehicle repairContinuous improvementCommunication skillsTeamwork abilitiesIndependent work

Required

3+ years' experience as a diesel mechanic, fleet mechanic, or heavy equipment mechanic
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to participate in continuous improvement and DTNA Elite Support initiatives

Preferred

Formal training in diagnosing and repairing Class 3–7 vehicles preferred
