They are seeking a Full-Time Structured Cable Technician who will manage daily activities related to the installation, repair, and troubleshooting of cabling infrastructure in a data center environment.

Responsibilities
Working under our data center manager and Director of ICT
Responding to incident tickets to resolve issues
Complete change tasks assigned to the team
Complete project tasks
Troubleshooting connection issues within and between locations
Work within the ticketing system to update statuses on active work
Installing, moving, and removing devices
Managing inventory
Installing, testing, moving, labeling, and removing copper and fiber cabling
Generating reports
Perform quality checks of work performed
Provide feedback on work prioritization
Act swiftly and efficiently in response to emergency situations, accidents, or breakdowns, dispatching assistance and resources as needed
Should an emergency come up after hours it is a requirement of this role to go onsite to resolve the emergency after hours incident
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent education
Experience in working with copper and fiber
A minimum of one year working in a similar role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure
Detail orientated
Willingness to work within a close team
Preferred
CommScope experience is preferred
