Alarm and Detection Technician Apprentice
Western States Fire Protection (WSFP) is a family of unique individuals committed to life safety systems. The Alarm & Detection Technician Apprentice will assist the lead technician in providing customer support through installation, repair, and preventive maintenance of fire alarm equipment while learning the necessary skills to advance in the role.

Required
Desires a career in fire protection
High School diploma or equivalent is required
Completion of NICET level 1 exam within the first year of employment is required
Experience with technology such as iPad, smartphone, etc
Possess a valid driver's license; in accordance with Company policy
Clean appearance and reliable transportation in accordance with Company Health & Safety Pocketbook
Willing to pass post-offer drug screen, background and reference check
Ability to lift up to 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
Regular bending, reaching, climbing and walking
