Technician (Contingent Upon Award)
Loch Harbour Group is seeking skilled Technicians to support a large-scale sustainment and logistics program focused on maintaining Air Force weapon system readiness. In this role, you’ll work closely with senior technicians and engineers to identify and resolve parts obsolescence issues, ensuring that critical systems remain mission-ready and cost-effective throughout their lifecycle.

Responsibilities
Support sustainment activities in a depot-level or equivalent environment
Identify, analyze, and help resolve parts obsolescence issues across multiple platforms before they impact sustainment
Access, interpret, and recommend changes to technical data, including preparing Air Force Technical Order (AFTO) forms or commercial equivalents
Use predictive tools to proactively and reactively address parts obsolescence
Review engineering drawings and data using repositories such as JEDMICS (or commercial equivalents)
Research and compile technical data to assist in recommending replacements for discontinued components — including using existing stock, reclamation, alternate sources, aftermarket solutions, F3I substitutions, emulation, and redesign options
Collaborate with senior technicians and engineering staff to support resolution strategies and documentation
Qualification
Required
Two years combined experience working with senior technicians while supporting a sustainment environment such as military depot or equivalent
Identifying, analyzing and solving obsolescence issues across multiple platforms before they impact sustainment
Accessing, utilizing, interpreting and preparing recommended changes to technical data (including AFTO Form 22s/252s or commercial equivalent)
Utilizing a DMSMS predictive tool to proactively and reactively solve parts obsolescence
Accessing, interpreting and recommending changes to engineering drawings, utilizing data repositories such as JEDMICS or commercial equivalent
Researching and providing detailed technical data to the senior technician to support the recommendation of replacement of components for items where the manufacturer has discontinued production, including: existing stock, reclamation, alternate, aftermarket, F3I substitutions, emulation, and minor/major redesigns
Must pass a Tier 1 National Agency Check (NAC) background investigation to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) for base and system access
U.S. Citizenship required
Must comply with installation safety, environmental, and OSHA regulations
