Responsibilities

Assists the Equipment Manager in appropriate preventative and curative maintenance required for all golf course equipment maintenance operations

Completes daily service records

Assist the Equipment Manager in maintaining appropriate parts inventory

Ensures that the equipment maintenance shop and appropriate areas are kept clean, organized, and provide a safe working environment for staff members

Must be thoroughly trained in the procedures of each task before performing such tasks

Must follow the guidelines in the Golf Course Maintenance Operations Manual for each specific task

Required to wear personal protective clothing and/or use protective equipment to comply with established safety operating standards

Special projects or other duties as assigned

Qualification

Required

High school education

Preferably secondary course of study in mechanics or trades training

At least one year's mechanical experience working with small engine repair and/or turf equipment

Equivalent experience in turf equipment management
