Responsibilities

Follows proper policy and procedure for initiation of testing, patient history, electrode placement, test completion, reporting, and equipment disinfection

Recognize and respond appropriately to patient’s medical problems and physiological events especially seizures

Maintains effective and efficient use of chemicals, reagents, and other materials

Follows safety procedures and guidelines; reports unsafe practices or conditions

Maintains inventory of supplies

Qualification

Electroencephalography experienceBasic Life SupportHealth science educationPatient care skillsSafety procedures knowledge

Required

Post-secondary training or college education in a science or health related field (LPN, CST, MOA, Paramedic, EMT, etc.)

Previous experience in Electroencephalography or an allied health care/ life sciences field
