The role involves assisting RN and physician staff with the care of critically ill and injured patients, maintaining equipment and supplies, and ensuring readiness in all units.

Responsibilities

Assist RN and physician staff with care of critically ill and injured patients

Responsible for stocking and ordering of equipment and supplies and maintaining a 24 hour ready status in all units

Responsible for cleaning, maintenance and stocking of unit equipment and supply in procedure carts

Qualification

EMT certificationBLS CertificationEKGPhlebotomyDiplomaPre-hospital experience

Required

High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Current New Jersey EMT certification or eligible for reciprocity

Current NJ-BLS Certification (Basic Life Support)

EMT Field and pre-hospital experience

EKG, Phlebotomy, ACCU-Check

Preferred

NREMT preferred
