Responsibilities

Localize and recognize differences between healthy and pathological areas to evaluate for factors such as position, obstruction or change in shape
Judge if images are satisfactory for diagnostic purposes
Perform ultrasound examinations
Record, file and edit results of sonograms
Maintain logs of ultrasound exams
Explain procedure to patient, record medical history, and prepare patients for testing
Assist physicians with patient care
3-D capture, analysis, offline measurements and quantification of Aortic and Mitral Valves
Advanced analysis and quantification of Aortic and Mitral Valves, 2-D & 3-D, to calculate ERO
Extensive calculation of hemodynamic parameters and left ventricular dimensions
Performs other and related duties as required

Qualification

Registered Diagnostic Medical SonographerEchocardiogram experienceDiagnostic Medical Sonography programDiagnostic Ultrasound experiencePatient care assistance

Required

Graduate of Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDCS or RCS) required
One year of pediatric or adult congenital echo experience required
0 -2 years of experience in Diagnostic Ultrasound, including clinical rotations
Willing to travel to our offices in NJ and NYC
