As a Sheet Metal Technician, you will perform various sheet metal operations and assist in supervising crews while ensuring effective communication and maintenance of shop facilities.

Responsibilities

Perform basic sheet metal operations such as drilling, riveting, cutting on airframe and associated components

Application and removal of sealant, sound deadening and finish materials

Maintenance, cleaning and repair of shop facility, equipment and tooling when required

Basic computer skills to be able to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance data bases

Effectively and clearly communicate (i.e., speak, write, read) in English

Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management

Turbine aircraft structuresReading blueprintsSheet metal operationsBasic computer skillsEffective communication

Required

Basic to advanced knowledge of turbine aircraft structures

Ability to read blueprints

Experience working from drawings

Knowledge of fastening systems, procedures and techniques

Ability to perform basic sheet metal operations such as drilling, riveting, cutting on airframe and associated components

Ability to apply and remove sealant, sound deadening and finish materials

Ability to maintain, clean and repair shop facility, equipment and tooling when required

Basic computer skills to navigate electronic training, manuals, and maintenance databases

Ability to effectively and clearly communicate (i.e., speak, write, read) in English

Willingness to perform any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management
