Responsibilities
Perform mechanical work in electrical substations
Inspect equipment, structures, and materials to identify issues
Service, repair, and adjust mechanical equipment
Analyze information to select the best solutions for customer issues
Engage in physical activities requiring dexterity and agility
Use computer software to manage site visit data
Operate and maintain Vacuum Oil Processors (VOPs) and oil handling equipment
Complete vacuum oil processing logs and support site transformer testers
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma/GED and 2 years of professional work experience
Must have a valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 85%
Must be able to work outdoors for extended periods in all weather conditions
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and stand, stoop, bend, and walk for up to 12 hours per day
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
Preferred
Possession of a Class A CDL is a plus
Welding experience is a plus
