Behavior Technician
Grafton Integrated Health Network is seeking a Behavior Technician responsible for direct delivery of behavioral services to children and families. This role involves implementing treatment plans under the supervision of a BCBA and maintaining accurate records while providing support to clients and their families.

Responsibilities
Works under the supervision of a BCBA to collaboratively establish and/or implement a treatment plan based on a functional assessment
Provide direct delivery of the behavioral services to the children and families by implementing goals and objectives to ensure safety and engagement in appropriate instructional, leisure, and daily living activities within a natural environment and under the supervision of a BCBA
May prepare written assessments, assessing service recipients from multiple perspectives, including family functioning, social, academic, and behavioral, skills, strengths, barriers self-sufficiency, treatment history, and others, and utilizing various assessment instruments as appropriate
Implement language and academic programs by collecting individual progress data, maintaining program books, and creating teaching materials
Document case activities or other required daily documentation for both data analysis and billing purposes in a timely manner
Schedule and keep scheduled appointments to support family with implementing behavior intervention in home and schedule and keep supervision meetings with BCBA for supervision and as needed
Discuss treatment progress, supports family in implementing in-home behavior strategies that support the treatment plan, and responds to parents and/ or guardians regarding operations, events, incidents, etc
Attends job specific conferences and/or training as scheduled, and assists in the trainings and mentoring of new staff
Communicate effectively about all ideas, successes or concerns
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be 19 years of age
A valid, acceptable driver's license
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required
Bachelor's degree in psychology, human services or a related field OR
Associates degree and 3 months experience working with children required OR
High school diploma and 6 months experience working with children required
Effective oral and written communication skills and outstanding social skills
Solid reporting skills and impartial assessment skills are essential
Requires Ukeru certification
Preferred
Prior experience working with children with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities preferred
Experience in writing Positive Behavior Support plans and in designing and evaluating behavioral interventions preferred
