The University of North Alabama is inviting applications for a non-tenure-track Lecturer in Criminal Justice/Crime Scene Investigation within the Department of Politics, Justice, Law, and Philosophy. The role involves teaching various criminal justice courses, advising students, and engaging in community service and professional development activities.

Responsibilities
Teach courses primarily in person
Maintain a standard 5-5 teaching load
Academically advise students each semester
Demonstrate excellence in teaching
Facilitate professional development
Render university, community, and professional service
Hold regular office hours
Coordinate/participate in crime scene training experiential activities
Engage in mock courtroom testimony exercises with students
Conduct evidence collection tool/equipment audits
Physically transport crime scene tool/equipment across campus via a handcart
Qualification
Required
Master of science degree in criminal justice (or other closely related discipline)
At least two years of field experience as a criminal investigator, crime scene investigator, evidence manager, or a certified medicolegal death investigator
Familiarity with 'painting with light' crime scene photography techniques
Mastery of or the ability to acquire the mastery of bloodstain pattern analysis software
Mastery of or the ability to acquire the mastery of bullet trajectory lasers
Mastery of or the ability to acquire the mastery of BlueStar
Mastery of or the ability to acquire the mastery of DSLR cameras
Mastery of or the ability to acquire the mastery of presumptive blood field test kits
Mastery of or the ability to acquire the mastery of dual contrast fingerprint powder
Mastery of or the ability to acquire the mastery of impression casting using dental stone
Mastery of or the ability to acquire the mastery of mikrosil
