Responsibilities
Assist ICU nurses and doctors with patient treatments, triage, diagnostics, and monitoring
Provide compassionate, professional communication with clients and referring veterinarians
Administer medications and help maintain accurate medical records
Support the coordination of patient discharges, laboratory submissions, and follow-up communications
Maintain organization and cleanliness of the ICU, treatment, and support areas
Assist in administrative duties such as message triage, updates, and record management
Communicate effectively with the Critical Care team to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient outcomes
Qualification
Required
Minimum 6 months of experience in a clinical veterinary setting (ICU or emergency experience preferred)
Confidence handling dogs and cats in a medical environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
A commitment to continued professional development and learning
A team-oriented mindset with a focus on patient care and collaboration
Preferred
ICU or emergency experience
