Electro-Mechanical Technician
Trillium Engineering is focused on developing advanced unmanned aircraft systems, and they are seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician to ensure the proper functioning of their electro-mechanical systems. The role involves assembling, testing, and maintaining complex systems while adhering to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities
Assemble and test Trillium’s gimballed camera systems in a low-rate and full-rate production environment
Troubleshoot and repair non-functional gimbals, Printed Circuit Boards and other assemblies
Complete all relevant system transactions in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), collaboration, and shop floor systems
Maintain detailed records of assembly processes, testing results, and any modifications made
Create comprehensive documentation outlining assembly procedures and troubleshooting techniques
Inspect products, materials, or components to identify defects or deviations from quality standards
Use various tools and techniques for inspection, such as calipers, gauges, and testing equipment
Conduct product tests and experiments to analyze their performance and identify potential issues
Document and analyze test results and make recommendations for improvements
Collect and maintain data related to quality metrics, defects, and testing results
Perform routine maintenance on testing equipment and tools used in gimbal assembly and testing
Ensure all tools are properly calibrated and in proper working order
Adhere to safety regulations, industry standards, and company policies to maintain a secure and compliant work environment
Work closely with engineers, designers, and other team members to provide feedback on design improvements and manufacturing processes

Qualification
Required

Four years' experience assembling complex electromechanical products in a production environment preferred
Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
Ability to rework PCBs to IPC standards and document rework
Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and handle changing priorities
Willingness to learn new tasks/skills
2 years' electronics technician degree, preferred
Experience with the gimballed camera system, preferred
Familiarity or experience with schematic capture design tools preferred
Demonstrated ability to support customers via e-mail, phone or in person, preferred
Experience in process improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen, preferred
Physically able to lift up to 20 pounds (materials/equipment)
Effective use of computer, laptop, cell phone and other mobile device to exchange information
