Senior Housing Coordinator (Business Professional III) - R20012

Responsibilities
Support the Program Manager in managing housing programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, and timely goal achievement
Conduct research and analysis to contribute to housing plans and policy development, including Fair Housing Initiatives
Lead meetings with stakeholders and the public, offering guidance and responding to program-related inquiries
Act as a liaison and staff support for the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee, as required by statute
Prepare communications and policy documents
Monitor fiscal and program progress of grant-funded activities, identifying issues and recommending improvements
Review financial reports and gather required documentation for federal, state, and internal reporting systems
Communicate regularly with stakeholders to collect and compile data for quarterly and annual reports
Assist with budget adoption and fiscal adjustments using county financial systems and procedures
Process and review applications for downpayment, repair, rehabilitation, and other loan-based assistance programs
Evaluate loan applications by analyzing ownership, credit, assets, liabilities, home equity, and property appraisals
Review contractor documents and ensure compliance with technical provisions and cost eligibility
Coordinate with legal, financial, and title professionals to ensure proper documentation and program delivery
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Public Administration, Business, Finance, Planning, or a job-related field -WITH- three (3) years of professional job-related experience
Master's degree can count for one year of experience
Seven (7) years of professional job-related experience in the management of technical projects/programs and strategic planning may substitute for the required education
Preferred
Master's degree in Public Administration, Business, Finance, Planning, or a job-related field
Two (2) years of federal or state grant experience, to include those working with or administering housing grant programs such as HOME or SHIP
Proficient in federal, state, and local grant requirements with the ability to interpret complex regulations and apply them effectively
Skilled in leading high-priority, time-sensitive projects, managing multiple tasks independently, and working collaboratively with diverse stakeholders
Capable of educating others, fostering professional relationships, and producing clear, concise reports and policy documents
