Responsibilities

Monitors and observes individuals; records and reports individual’s conditions, progress, behaviors, activity, etc
Reviews individuals charts and follows individual treatment plans, encourages and assists patients in completing scheduled treatment activities and goals
Assess situation and applies appropriate interventions to prevent or resolve crisis situations
Interacts regularly with clients and facilitates positive activities such as education and recreation

Required

A valid driver's license will be required
Ability to properly manage aggressive, self-abusive, and non-compliant individuals
Ability to implement and follow prescribed behavioral programs
Ability to work collaboratively as a valued member of the treatment team
Ability to observe, monitor, and report individual's behavior
Ability to participate in and supervise individual's activities
Ability to teach daily living skills
Ability to de-escalate in crisis situations
Ability to maintain a therapeutic, safe, and secure environment
Ability to assess situations and apply appropriate interventions to prevent or resolve crisis situations
Ability to interact regularly with clients and facilitate positive activities such as education and recreation
Ability to record and report individual's conditions, progress, behaviors, activity, etc
Ability to review individuals charts and follow individual treatment plans
