Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of duties in support of our kidney research program

Mouse husbandry procedures including, but not limited to, maintenance of breeding colonies, weaning of litters, mouse identification, collection of tissue, blood, and urine, and maintenance of records in a computer database

Assist in planning, performance, and interpretation of animal studies

Perform experimental techniques including mouse surgeries, immunofluorescence, Western blotting, genotyping, quantitative PCR, bioinformatics, and advance tissue clearing approaches (after training)

Ensure animal research regulatory compliance, administration of IACIC protocols, general lab maintenance, ordering and reagent preparation and other duties as assigned or requested
