SERVPRO of Hillsboro/Forest Grove is a rapidly growing, locally owned and operated National Franchise specializing in Water and Fire Restoration. The Lead Water or Fire Mitigation Technician will help customers during their times of need by performing tasks related to water extraction, light construction demo, and ensuring proper techniques for remediation of hazardous materials.

Sports

Responsibilities

Follow instructions from the Production Manager or General Manager and perform tasks as instructed (based on specific job needs)
Perform water extraction and pack-out contents
Remove and dispose of any non-salvageable materials that are affected
Perform light construction demo upon approval
Must be able to work in confined, dirty and/or high spaces
Set up drying equipment and monitor daily
Perform hard surface cleaning
Ensure paperwork is completed and properly filled out
Learn and utilize drying program on an iPad-Support Team Members
Learn and perform proper techniques to remediate mold, lead, and other hazardous materials

Required

Effective oral and written communication and basic math skills
Experience in cleaning/restoration/construction
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must have a valid Driver's License and insurable driving record
Willingness to pre employment drug screen
Minimum of 1 years' experience with water/fire restoration
Must have the ability to communicate with others in written and verbal form
Familiarity with construction and being able to operate a wide range of equipment common to construction demo is a plus
Must be willing to work in an environment that has suffered fire, water, and wind damage
Must be willing to respond to service calls after-hours and during inclement weather on a rotating schedule
Requires a valid driver's license and have a clean driving record
