Responsibilities

Provide drafting and plan production services during concept, design and construction phases for a variety of civil engineering projects including river recreation and restoration projects, drainage and flood control facilities, utilities, water quality, and structures

Prepare design and construction drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D and other software as required

Be self-motivated, able to perform and solve problems independently without immediate direction of engineer and take the initiative to make sound decisions with minimal oversight

Take ownership of a project from start to finish, ensuring Quality Control and standardization of product

Ensure project deliverable packages adhere to company and client standards with attention to quality, budget, and schedule constraints

Coordinate and work with Project Team, including other CAD technicians, engineers, and support staff as well as subconsultants

Other duties as assigned

Qualification

AutoCAD Civil 3DCivil engineering experienceDrafting/CADD TechnologySketchUpOrganizational skillsCommunication skills

Required

Bachelor's or associate's degree or certificate in Drafting/CADD Technology

5 to 10 years of demonstrated experience in civil engineering or related field

Strong AutoCAD Civil 3D skills, including proficiency with Civil 3D design features such as alignments, profiles, surfaces, grading, pipe networks and corridors

Good understanding of surfaces, grading, and contours

Self-motivated, detail-oriented professional with strong organizational and communication skills

A desire to grow personally and professionally with each project while working in a team environment to create designs and drawings supporting our client's overall project goals
