The role involves inspecting, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on looms, as well as following safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.

Manufacturing

Responsibilities

Inspects looms for proper operations

Makes adjustments to loom and/or repairs parts of the loom that are not working properly

Dismantles or partially dismantles looms to make necessary repairs, adjustments, or replacement of parts

Reassembles looms after repair work is completed

Changes out cams, gears, and pulleys on loom

Performs daily and weekly preventative maintenance audits on assigned looms

Troubleshoots malfunction of looms

Greases and cleans mechanical parts of looms

Cuts selvage waste away from axles and shafts of looms

Keeps machine covers in place and replace them when needed

Performs other duties assigned by management

Follows all safety rules to ensure the safety of yourself and those around you

Required

High School Diploma or GED
