Responsibilities

Perform janitorial duties to maintain cleanliness throughout the community center and its grounds
Complete facility set-ups and teardowns for room arrangements under the direction of the Facility Coordinator/Building Supervisors
Conduct tasks such as changing light bulbs, washing windows, cleaning restrooms, restocking inventory, mopping floors, dusting, and performing light repairs
Operate maintenance equipment, including floor scrubbers, vacuums, and sweepers

Required

Must be able to work independently and efficiently; must be capable of working effectively during busy times
Must have interpersonal skills to interact with the public in a professional manner
This position will require physical labor in the form of moving tables, chairs and full trash bags

Preferred

Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred, but training is provided
