They are seeking a Service Technician Trainee who will train with an experienced technician and travel to customer sites to service equipment, while also gaining necessary safety certifications.

Responsibilities

Perform quarterly, semi-annual, and annual preventive maintenance

Accurately assess trouble calls and repair machine(s)

Perform start-up on newly installed machine (s)

Check-in with the Service Coordinator daily

Submit completed timesheets and service tickets to the Service Coordinator daily

Attire worn is a clean company uniform daily as well as displaying a professional demeanor

Maintain clean service truck

Must maintain a level of physical fitness to safely do the job as well as operate a company service truck, etc

Required

Must be mechanically adept and electrical knowledge in industrial sector

Must have some knowledge of, but will trained safely use, all hand tools and power tools such as drill motors, grinders, band saws, etc

Must have a good driving record and be able to drive a service van or pickup truck as required

Must be able to follow directions and take notes

Provide on call response during assigned week

Must be able to work in a fast paced environment

Must be able to use hands, fingers, walking, stooping, kneeling, climbing ladders/scaffolding, and requires a considerable amount of walking and standing

Must be able to lift and move up to 10 lbs. frequently lift and or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and or move more than 50 lbs

Must be able to be on call
