Tenure-Track, Rank Open Faculty in Health Administration
The University of North Alabama is inviting applications for a full-time, open rank, tenure-track faculty position in Health Administration within the Department of Management and Marketing. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching in the Master of Health Administration program, as well as in MBA and/or BBA programs, while maintaining a strong record of research and service.

Qualification
Required
A doctoral degree in health administration, public health, or a related field from an accredited institution is required; ABD status will be accepted, provided that ABD status and dissertation defense schedule shows completion within six months
Candidates are expected to demonstrate research necessary for the college to meet current AACSB International accreditation standards
The review of candidates will focus on their research productivity/potential, teaching effectiveness/potential, and mentoring experience/potential
Responsibilities include teaching online graduate courses, while establishing and/or maintaining a strong record of research and service
The MHA program is delivered 100% online, however, other teaching and service responsibilities will require being on campus
Preferred
Healthcare industry experience is preferred
While content areas are open, expertise in healthcare finance, management and organizational behavior, quality improvement, and/or strategic planning is preferred
