EMCOR Services Aircond is a leading commercial and industrial HVAC service company in the Southeast. They are seeking a Service Technician III - V to install, service, and repair HVAC systems and related environmental-control systems, utilizing knowledge of heating and refrigeration theory.

Responsibilities

Install, service, and repair heating, ventilating, air conditioning systems, and related environmental-control systems

Demonstrate advanced troubleshooting skills on 100 ton and less unitary DX equipment

Capable of all repairs needed on rooftop package equipment

Perform basic troubleshooting on air-cooled chillers

Troubleshoot and repair water cooled package equipment

Diagnose problems using electrical schematics

Diagnosing refrigerant system issues

Basic understanding variable frequency drives

Diagnose issues with variable air volume equipment (VAV’s/PIU’s)

Advanced troubleshooting on all air-cooled equipment, both unitary and chilled water

Basic understanding of water-cooled chillers

Basic understanding of DDC control systems

Capable of maintaining and repairing cooling towers

Ability to diagnose water flow issues

Proficient with variable frequency drives and starters

Proficient with low pressure boilers

Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair large, water-cooled chillers

Diagnose issues on large boilers with power burners

Advanced diagnosis of air distribution systems (VAV/PIU)

Chilled water system distribution and troubleshooting

Troubleshoot and repair/rebuild large pumps

Possess superior system knowledge and advanced troubleshooting skills

EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification

Four to five years plus of commercial/industrial HVAC experience including exposure to control, compound and reciprocating systems as well as refrigerants. Experience level is based on technician classifications described above
