NEOGOV is seeking an Assistant Attorney General in the Crime Victim Services Division of the Illinois Attorney General’s Office. This role involves managing a team of analysts, processing compensation claims, and representing the State of Illinois in Court of Claims administrative hearings while assisting victims of crime.

Responsibilities

Managing a team of analysts processing compensation claims

Reviewing completed investigatory reports and preparing them for submission to the Court of Claims

Representing the State of Illinois in Court of Claims administrative hearings

Engaging in personal and telephone contact with crime victims as needed

Conducting other legal research as assigned

Document review, file maintenance and monitoring work flow

Qualification

Candidates must be licensed in the State of Illinois at the time of application
