Mobile Crisis Management Behavioral Technician

Daymark Recovery Services is a mission-driven provider of mental health and substance abuse services. The Mobile Crisis Management Behavioral Technician will provide a range of psychosocial evaluation and crisis intervention services, while supporting consumers in their recovery and maintaining their rights.

Responsibilities

Provides psychoeducation as indicated in the PCP
Assists with crisis interventions
Assists the team leader with behavioral and substance use disorder interventions
Assists with the development of relapse prevention and disease management strategies
Participates in the initial development, implementation, and ongoing revision of the PCP
Communicates the beneficiary’s progress and the effectiveness of the strategies and interventions to the team leader as outlined in the PCP
Ensures that consumer/legally responsible person receives information regarding rights and assistance as needed in exercising rights
Assists consumer/legally responsible person in obtaining information about available service providers
Helps the consumer make informed independent choices and develop a network of supportive individuals
Assist the consumer with using the crisis plan and provide relapse prevention support
Supports the consumer to maintain stable housing, improve housing situation, and enhance independent living skills
Assists the client in gaining information about going back to school or job training
Developing and implementing a Mental Health Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP)
The direct service guideline is 75% of time spent in specific billable contacts per week in the community

Required

Para Professional services are delivered by staff who have the life experience of being diagnosed with a serious mental illness or substance addiction problem, and are currently in recovery, stable, and living without relapses
The Paraprofessional has a high school diploma, or GED and at least five years of life experience with a serious mental illness or substance addiction
Peer Support - Requires Peer Support Certification
AP - requires high school diploma and at least one year of appropriate experience. Or Bachelor's degree in the field with no experience
QP- requires bachelor's degree in social work, Counseling or another Human Services field
