Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on semi-trailers in accordance with DOT standards
Remove and replace tires, brakes, brake drums, hubs, seals, bearings, races, and related components
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and lighting systems
Repair or replace chassis components, including springs, spring hangers, equalizers, slider assemblies, axles, and subframes
Repair mud flap brackets and dolly leg assemblies
Repair or replace trailer flooring, rub rails, doors, and door trim
Perform structural repairs to roofs, panels, nose panels, and upper/lower rails
Conduct preventative maintenance and repairs on refrigeration units
Support preventative maintenance and basic repairs on tractors
Qualification
Required
A valid driver's license and reliable transportation
The ability to lift up to 60 pounds, stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, reach, stretch, climb, or sit for extended periods
A commitment to following all safety and health regulations
A strong desire to learn
Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening
