Responsibilities

Inspect, diagnose, and repair hydraulic systems on Genie lifts and related equipment

Perform preventive maintenance and system testing to ensure reliable operation

Rebuild and replace hydraulic components, including pumps, valves, cylinders, and hoses

Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, service manuals, and technical documents

Use precision tools, diagnostic equipment, and test benches to troubleshoot issues

Maintain accurate service and repair records in compliance with company standards

Collaborate with other technicians to ensure high-quality reconditioning results

Follow all safety protocols and ensure a clean, organized work environment

Required

High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)

2+ years of experience working with hydraulic systems (aerial lift or heavy equipment experience a plus)

Strong understanding of hydraulic theory and troubleshooting techniques

Ability to read schematics, diagrams, and service manuals

Proficiency with hand tools, hydraulic testing equipment, and diagnostic software

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement

Maintain accurate service and repair records in compliance with company standards

Follow all safety protocols and ensure a clean, organized work environment

Ensure all QMS (Quality Management System) guidelines and regulations are followed

All employees are required to follow and promote all company and regulatory safety and environmental standards and exhibit safe work practices at all times

Use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment): Safety Toe Shoes, Safety Glasses, etc. required at all times in warehouse environment

Follow established departmental policies, procedures, objectives, and continuous quality improvement objectives

Actively participate in and support the principles of Open-Book Management

Possess a positive attitude and promote a positive work environment

The ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, or more, is required

Preferred

Welding and fabrication experience a plus
