Responsibilities

Performs routine labor, repairs, construction, grounds care, painting, and other maintenance work based on clear and concise directions and/or close supervision
Uses a wide range of hand and power tools such as shovels, brooms, mowers, edgers, weed eaters, saws, drills, jack hammers, air compressors, etc
Equipment operation is limited to 1 ton and smaller vehicles, (towing of trailers will not be permitted)
May be assigned to perform general labor individually or as part of a maintenance crew and may be asked to become Florida State MOT certified

Qualification

Power tools knowledgeSemi-skilled maintenanceFollow instructionsSafety regulations compliance

Required

Must be 18 years old
Valid Florida State Driver's license required

Preferred

Experience in area of semi-skilled maintenance within public works operation is preferred
