Responsibilities
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any inspections or tests conducted
Interpret blueprints and project drawings for piping/tubing systems layout and requirements
Verify material selection (carbon-steel, stainless-steel) based on project specs
Measure, cut, and bend pipes/tubes to required length using hand/power tools
Assemble hydraulic systems with various connection methods
Install piping/tubing systems with proper alignment, bend radius, and support structures
Test and inspect installed systems, addressing defects or issues
Upgrade and repair to existing systems, fix leaks and replace damaged components
Collaborate with construction professionals for seamless system integration
Adhere to safety standards, use PPE, and follow site safety guidelines
Other duties may be required
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent
Trade School or other certifications
Completion of a pipe/tube fitting apprenticeship program or equivalent on-the-job training
Pipe/Tube Bending: Min of 1 year (Required)
Hydraulic Plumbing Fabrication and Installation: Min of 1 year (Required)
Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings
Strong mathematical and measurement skills
Ability to safely use hand and power tools
Organization skills
Ability to handle multiple assignments with strict deadlines
Safety conscious
Knowledge of various piping materials and their applications
Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures
Experience working in various environmental conditions
Preferred
Pipe/Tube Bending: 2 years (Preferred)
Hydraulic Plumbing Fabrication and Installation: 2 years (Preferred)
In-Field Service and Installation: 1 year (Preferred)
