$15.86/hr - $15.86/hrThe University of Central Missouri (UCM) is seeking a Custodial/Setups staff member to maintain cleanliness and support event setups during night hours. The role involves performing custodial duties, setting up and striking conference rooms, and assisting with general maintenance tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities
Sweep, dust mop, spot mop, spray buff, shower scrub, burnish, and refinish all hard surface floors throughout the assigned area, or as assigned by the supervisor
Vacuum, spot clean, shampoo, extract carpets throughout the assigned area, or as assigned by the supervisor
Move furniture, equipment, materials, and perform other general maintenance
Service, clean, and disinfect restrooms, classrooms, offices, and clean drinking fountains
Maintain custodial closets, work areas, and equipment in a clean and safe manner
Remove trash and debris from building to dumpster
Set-up/strike conference rooms, meeting rooms, dining areas, and other areas, as assigned
Detail all areas of the setup in prep for the event Clean doors, partition glass, interior windows, blinds, light fixtures, and vents
Dust furniture, spot clean walls, ceilings, and doors/frames, as needed
Snow removal, as required
Report to FPO anything that needs repairing or replacing
Perform additional duties, as assigned by administrative or supervising personnel
Assist floor crew personnel, as assigned
Qualification
Required
High School diploma or equivalent
Excessive standing and/or walking
Exposure to extreme temperatures
Exposure to fumes and/or chemicals
Exposure to heights
Exposure to loud noises
Lifting (weight) - 50 lbs
Completed UCM online application for employment required
A background check is required for the selected candidate
