QA Sr Technician (CMM Programmer) - 3rd Shift

The QA Sr Technician (CMM Programmer) is responsible for ensuring product quality by comparing defects against standards, reviewing parts for conformance, and conducting tests on materials to verify compliance with specifications.

Manufacturing

Responsibilities

Compares defects against standards and recommend disposition
Reviews parts for conformance to drawings and specifications
Interfacing internal/external customers and peers
Competent in operation of a CMM measurement system using PC-DMIS, Experience programming CMMS using PC-DMIS is preferred
Competent in GD&T (Geometric dimensioning and tolerances)
Defines and specifies activities, processes, and standards to fulfill the quality requirements for materials, components, or products
Builds and maintains the infrastructure and systems necessary to consistently ensure the timely delivery of quality products
Identifies and addresses any issues with equipment performance
Audits, monitors, and determines the quality of manufacturing processes and/or outputs against defined internal and regulatory standards
Reports and troubleshoots manufacturing process deviations and defects in finished goods
Conducts tests on materials or samples to verify compliance with specifications and quality standards

Required

Vocational/Technical Training Degree and 2-5 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
Competent in operation of a CMM measurement system using PC-DMIS
Competent in GD&T (Geometric dimensioning and tolerances)
Requires working knowledge and skills to perform a defined set of analytical scientific or operational processes
Applies experience and skills to complete assigned work within own area of expertise
Works within standard operating procedures and/or scientific methods
Works with a moderate degree of supervision
Performs manual tasks according to established procedures
Defines and specifies activities, processes, and standards to fulfill the quality requirements for materials, components, or products
Builds and maintains the infrastructure and systems necessary to consistently ensure the timely delivery of quality products
