Responsibilities
Perform seasonal maintenance (winterization, spring prep)
Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, impeller replacements, and fluid checks
Perform diagnostics and repairs on inboard engines, drive systems, ballast systems, electrical wiring, and onboard electronics
Troubleshoot and repair surf systems, touchscreen interfaces, and other wake-specific features
Inspect and prep new and used boats for delivery
Buff and recondition trade-in boats
Conduct tests and on-site service calls
Support fellow technicians with hands-on help
Keep your workspace clean and organized
Conduct lake tests and water trials when necessary
Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with service advisors and customers
Stay up to date on manufacturer training and certifications
Qualification
Required
Minimum 2 years of experience as a marine technician, preferably with inboard and wake boats
High school diploma or equivalent
Your own hand tools (we provide advanced diagnostic equipment)
Valid driver's license
Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
Can pass a background check and drug screen
Strong understanding of 12V electrical systems, CAN bus networks, and marine electronics
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn
Familiarity with Computer Diagnostic Software
Preferred
Certification from major engine manufacturers (e.g., Mercury, Indmar, PCM, Ilmor, Volvo Penta, etc.) is a plus
