They are seeking a Telemetry Technician to provide continuous EKG monitoring, interpret rhythms, and manage telemetry equipment while notifying staff of any arrhythmias.

Responsibilities

Provide continuous EKG monitoring, and interpretation of the rhythms, including lethal arrhythmias

Notify appropriate staff of arrhythmias

Oversee the care, maintenance and tracking of telemetry equipment and servicing

Report any problems with telemetry equipment to the Telemetry Manager and/or the Bio Med Department

Qualification

BLS CertificationRhythm Recognition CourseTelemetry Monitoring ExperienceACLS CertificationCommunication SkillsProblem Solving Skills

Required

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Rhythm Recognition Course Certificate

Successful completion of the CMH Telemetry Technician competency within three (3) months of hire

Preferred

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

Six (6) months telemetry monitoring experience

Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification

Good communication and problem solving skills
