San Francisco Giants is seeking a Baseball Operations Associate Analyst to provide analytics and technology support for their Baseball Operations department. The role involves statistical analysis, developing tools, and ensuring data quality to assist the Player Development staff.

Responsibilities

Provide statistical analysis and quantitative research to support Player Development staff

Execute Minor League pre- and post-game reporting needs

Develop new tools and dashboards to facilitate the flow of actionable information

Conduct research for ad-hoc requests from coaches & staff

Utilize technology and information to assess player strengths and areas of development

Ensure data upload and ingestion quality for Minor League Affiliate ball-tracking files

Support data collection needs, including but not limited to operating technologies like Trackman Portable, Blast, Rapsodo, Trackman

Understanding of current baseball analytics topics

Strong communication and attention to detail

Experience with Excel and SQL, R, or Python

Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
