As a Behavioral Health Technician, you will provide one-to-one services to children and adolescents facing emotional and behavioral challenges, following prescribed treatment plans and supporting families in the process.

Responsibilities

Provide one-to-one services to children and adolescents between the ages of 2-24, who are confronted with serious, identified, emotional and/or behavioral disturbances

Aid in improving independent, age-appropriate functioning to levels which require less or no service intervention

Travel to the clients' home/school/service location daily

Follow the prescribed treatment plan

Provide behavioral and treatment interventions and consequences to the client

Set boundaries with clients and their families to prevent dependency upon your services

Provide support to parents and adult professionals

Educate and train parents/young adults to utilize these skills

Provide positive reinforcement

Provide culturally aware and competent service provision
