Landscape Maintenance Temporary Services Aide- FY 26
The City of Fresno is looking for individuals to fill temporary seasonal opportunities in the Landscape Maintenance Division. The role involves assisting with various landscape maintenance tasks and ensuring the cleanliness and safety of public parks and trails.

Responsibilities
Assist with all phases of landscape maintenance including raking, weeding, trimming, plant replacement, and landscape improvements
Working outside along street medians, buffers, as well as in parks and trails
Assist maintenance staff with a variety of basic tasks- duties will vary according to job assignment
Clean and sanitize park and trail amenities and remove debris and litter from facilities, landscape features, trails, and parks
Recognize, avoid, and report unsafe acts, conditions, accidents, and injuries
Provide information, instructions, and assistance to the public within the scope of authority and training
Support the relationship between the City of Fresno and the general public by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with citizens, visitors, and City staff
Perform other duties as required or assigned
Qualification
Required
Selected individuals will be required to successfully pass a Department interview
A Department of Justice fingerprint clearance may be required
Depending on assignment, may be required to provide proof of Tuberculosis (TB) clearance prior to employment
Possession of a valid California Driver's License may be required at the time of appointment
Candidates considered for hire must provide proof of a valid driver's license and current copy of their driving record
