Responsibilities
Build cutting tool and Workholding packages based on tool lists
Source and purchase necessary cutting tools, cutting tool holders and accessories, and standardized Workholding
Organize high quantities of different cutting tools and Workholding for traceability and rapid deployment to machining assets
Administer vendor managed inventory (VMI)
Preset cutting tool assemblies using a Zoller tool setter, using RFID for preset data transfer
Digitally build and manage cutting tool assemblies in the tool management system (TMS)
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
3+ years' experience in machine shop, tooling management environment
3+ years experience operating and programming CNC tool presetters (preferably Zoller – Haimer also applicable)
Experience using software-based tool management systems (preferably Zoller – Wintool, TDM, and CribMaster also applicable)
Experience managing RFID tracked cutting tool assemblies
Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications for mechanical and electromechanical parts
Experience with industry machining standards, regulations, and techniques
