Responsibilities
Assist the Veterinarian with cases throughout the day
Be a mentor and resource to other non-credentialed technicians and assistants by training and educating them on all things veterinary
Monitor anesthesia
Perform dentistry
Prepare for surgical procedures
Document medical records
Fill medications
Interact with clients
Help keep the clinic clean and well stocked
Address other pet care needs as assigned
Qualification
Required
Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) credential
Previous experience in the veterinary field
Ability to work well within a team
Ability to work independently
Extremely detail oriented
Outgoing personality with the ability to connect and bond with clients and patients
Organized and able to multi-task
Ability to document medical records
Ability to fill medications
Ability to help keep the clinic clean and well stocked
Positive, professional attitude
Ability to mentor and educate non-credentialed technicians and assistants
Experience with anesthesia monitoring, dentistry, and surgical prep
