Entry, Mid LevelNVA Equine is an ambulatory equine practice located in Pennsylvania, seeking a Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will provide patient care with a focus on work-life balance, mentorship, and a supportive work culture, all while working Monday to Friday with no weekend or overnight shifts.

Responsibilities
You possess clinical skills and experience that include (but are not limited to): Patient assessment and physical examinations
Assisting DVMs in patient diagnostics, treatment, and procedures
Utilizing different modalities of imaging for patient assessment, the set up and use of equipment, and knowledge of radiology safety and proper technique
Knowledge of basic laboratory procedures
Preparing, updating, and completing patient treatments and maintaining accurate medical records
Qualification
Required
You are a Certified Veterinary Technician in the state of PA, or you can transfer your credentials from another state within 90 days of start (New grads preparing for the VTNE are welcome to apply!)
You possess solid horse handling skills and a basic knowledge of equine behavior
You are Motivated, dependable, and organized, have a strong work ethic and a love for equine athletes and the people they come with!
You are comfortable longeing and jogging horses in hand and are familiar with equine restraint techniques for different procedures
You understand the importance of clear & effective communication among clients and team members
Must be able to lift and carry 40+lbs
