Responsibilities

Prepare and distribute prescribed medications and other health care products under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist

Reconstitute medications and compound sterile preparations

Manage inventory and deliver medication to patient care units

Replenish medications in the automated dispensing cabinets and participate in scheduled Terminal Cleanings

Answer phones, file invoices, stock shelves, and complete data entry

Qualification

Registered Pharmacy TechnicianIV CertificationPharmacy Technician ExperienceDiploma

Required

High School Diploma or GED

Registered by Texas State Board of Pharmacy

Preferred

IV Certification preferred

1 year of pharmacy technician experience preferred
