Logistics Technician
EMSA- Emergency Medical Services Authority is seeking a Logistics Technician to manage inventory and supplies for medical equipment. The role involves maintaining accurate records, restocking supplies, and ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the work area.

Responsibilities
Maintains complete and accurate inventory and asset control. Manage records for medical equipment and supplies including exchanged items in those locations where first responder items are pooled
Inventory and restock medical equipment and supply in stockroom and on ambulances
Issues required supplies and equipment to appropriate Team Members and maintains inventory of items
Inspect, clean, and repair medical equipment as required
Completes records and reports in a timely manner
Troubleshoots medical equipment and ensures proper safeguarding of equipment and supplies
Maintains a safe and clean work area
Drive an ambulance, non-emergency, to pickup EMS equipment left at hospitals, as well as moving ambulances on EMSA premises
Qualification
Required
Strong attention to detail to maintain accurate inventory counts
Ability to work independently with little supervision
Accurate auditing and recording of assets
Must possess the ability to communicate effectively in writing, verbally, and through radio and telephone communications
Understanding of medical equipment with ability to learn new material
Ability to lift medical equipment and supplies weighing up to 100 lbs
Establish and maintain close working relationships with Team Members
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be 18 years of age
Current state driver's license
Preferred
Previous experience with maintaining inventory and counts preferred
Experience in a medical setting preferred
