Lead Patient Care Technician
Community Bridges, Inc. (CBI) is an integrated behavioral healthcare agency offering a variety of programs throughout Arizona. The Lead Patient Care Technician (PCT) is responsible for providing direct care to behavioral health patients and overseeing PCTs during their shift, ensuring a safe environment and quality care.

Responsibilities
Provides direct care to behavioral health patients
Oversees and supports the PCTs assigned to their shift
Coordinates with Registered Nurses (RN), Patient Care Technicians (PCT), and Behavioral Health Medical Practitioners (BHMP)
Ensures a safe environment and quality care is provided to all presenting for services
Responsible for the safety and operational effectiveness of the unit assigned
Identifies environmental and patient specific safety concerns
Directs staff during non-violent physical interventions and seclusion and restraint episodes
Provides direct patient care when needed
Expected to have full knowledge of program policy and procedures
Qualification
Required
Highschool diploma or GED required
One (1) or more years of health care related experience where his or her prior experience would provide adequate exposure to both behavioral and medical crisis situations required
Valid identification required
Preferred
Associate degree or higher preferred
Emergency Medical Technician certification (valid within the state of Arizona) is preferred but not required for this position
Certified Nurse Assistant certification (current and valid within the State of Arizona) is preferred but not required of this position
