Responsibilities

Address patient questions and concerns, facilitating medication access and ensuring patient satisfaction

Document patient interactions and medication therapy outcomes, including but not limited to:

Accurately gathering medication histories from multiple Electronic Health Records (EHRs)

Identifying potential medication errors or necessary clarifications

Reviewing medication use, administration, and prescribing accuracy

Assist with prior authorization (PA) requests and medication refill processing to ensure timely access to medications

Support insurance processing and billing

Help alleviate administrative burdens for pharmacists and clinic staff

Contribute to the delivery of safe patient care through diligent task completion

Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, including those set by the Board of Pharmacy and other regulatory agencies

Work closely with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and optimize medication therapy, including assisting in MTM services
