Responsibilities

Perform a variety of receiving activities to support the flow of incoming materials and supplies, including the physical and electronic receipt of materials from production, interbranch warehouses, vendors (MROs and catalog items), and customers. Accurately record receipts in the business system (e.g., SAP) to facilitate subsequent operations
Prepare and package customer shipments for ground, air, and ocean transportation in accordance with shipping regulations (DOT, IATA, IMDG), ensuring compliance with documentation, labeling, and packaging requirements
Load and unload trucks and containers for both incoming materials and outgoing customer shipments, ensuring safe and damage-free handling
Perform inventory control functions such as cycle counting, material transfers, stock rotation, and production staging (kitting raw materials). Address inventory discrepancies promptly and maintain accurate records
Pick and prepare interbranch shipments to support field warehouses and ensure timely customer deliveries
Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other motorized vehicles safely and efficiently to prevent product and equipment damage
Properly label, mark, and store products according to specified requirements, ensuring accurate segregation and preservation when necessary

Required

High school diploma or equivalent (GED); additional certifications in logistics or warehousing are a plus
Familiarity with inventory management system and standard warehouse procedures
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management abilities
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) or similar tools
Regularly required to stand, walk, and lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs.)
Frequent bending, reaching, and carrying of materials
Operation of motorized vehicles such as forklifts and pallet jacks for extended periods
Ability to adapt to workplace challenges, maintain professionalism, and manage responsibilities effectively
Capacity to clearly and professionally exchange ideas, interact respectfully with colleagues and customers, and foster positive workplace relationships
Ability to analyze information, follow verbal and written instructions, and make logical, sound decisions
Capability to understand and complete tasks as assigned and solve problems effectively
Competence in managing multiple priorities, maintaining accuracy, and staying focused despite potential workplace distractions

Preferred

Certification to operate forklifts or other motorized vehicles (preferred)
Knowledge of shipping regulations, including DOT, IATA, and IMDG is a plus
