Maintain a clean, healthy, and positive environment for pets and their owners
Assist vets and licensed techs with appointments and prepping for procedures
Proactively set up any equipment or tools for the vet to use on the patient
Fill prescriptions
Perform diagnostic imaging
Perform laboratory work
Provide compassionate care
Maintain animals' comfort level in overnight stays or when they are boarded
Qualification
Required
1 year of previous experience working in a veterinary practice or sufficient experience for the listed skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Compassion and sympathy in delicate situations with pet parents
Maintain a professional attitude in stressful situations
Team player with the ability to adapt to change
Preferred
Skill with technology (i.e., phones, computers, etc.)
