They are seeking a Floor Technician to perform various floor cleaning and maintenance tasks, ensuring that all designated floors are kept clean and well-maintained.

Consumer Services

Responsibilities

Carpet cleaning
Prepare floors to clean, buff, or refinish them
Perform buffing and refinishing activities to ensure that designated floors are kept shiny and clean
Operate floor care equipment such as automatic scrubbers, floor machines, and dry vacuums
Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors
Notify building management of any repairs required
Mix and dispose of all cleaning solutions properly
Multi surface/Window cleaning

Qualification

IICRC certificationsCleaning/restoration experienceDiploma/GEDTravel locallyEffective oral communication

Required

Effective oral communication
High school diploma/GED
Ability to travel locally and out of state as necessary
Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law
Successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening
Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance
Exposure to chemicals
Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing
Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
Ability to work in tight spaces (e.g., crawls spaces under buildings)
Repetitive pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects

Preferred

Experience in cleaning/restoration preferred
IICRC certifications preferred
