Lexicon, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join their team and contribute to their operations. The role involves diagnosing, repairing, and modifying shop equipment to ensure the seamless functioning of facilities while maintaining a safe environment.

Responsibilities

Perform diagnostics, repairs, and modifications of all shop equipment and support structures

Set up, install, adjust, and maintain production equipment, conveyors, automation, pneumatics, hydraulics pumps, encoders, variable frequency drives, etc

Perform routine, productive, and preventative maintenance on equipment and determining what kind of maintenance is needed

Identify complex problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options to find solutions

Watch gauges, dials, and other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly

High and low voltage electrical troubleshooting

PLC troubleshooting, observe mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble

Welding, fabrication, etc

Able to work overtime, weekends, and changing shifts as needed. Regular, punctual attendance is required

Able to work in time sensitive and sometimes stressful situations, with the ability to work independently and follow directions

Must be organized, thorough, reliable, and dependable with a high level of attention to detail

Responsible for adhering to all company safety and QA/QC programs and OSHA regulations

Required

Minimum two years' experience in industrial machine maintenance, preferably in manufacturing setting

Able to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and machine breakdowns

Must be familiar with control operations of equipment systems and have experience with gas, diesel, pneumatics, and hydraulic equipment

Candidates must show the capacity to proactively initiate, effectively lead, and consistently uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards
